Emulsol 2040M

EMULSOL-2040 M is blend of surfactants belonging to the class f poly-oxyethylene derivatives. Its spreading and wetting properties make it a versatile surfactant for Monocrotophos WSC. It also acts as a clarifing agent when diluted with water for field applications.

Solubility Data :

Application Details :

EMULSOL-2040 M is an excellent wetting and spreading agent used in the formulation of Monocrotophos WSC. monocrotophos WSC when diluted with water gives a hazy solution with suspended particulars on some occasions. this solution when sprayed on plants does not stick to the leaf due to the absence of a surfactant. By incorporating 5-10% of EMULSOL-2040 M in the formulation, the wetting efficiency of the pesticide solution improves considerably. Also the droplets spread uniformly on the leaf hereby optimsing the activity of Monocrotophos WSC. EMULSOL-2040 M is also used to improve the solubility of Monocrotophos in water. When used at the level of 5-8% in the formulation, the Monocrotophos WSC gives a clear solution when diluted with water of different hardness from 50 ppm to 700 ppm.
