Background

Griton WN is a sulphated fatty acid. This anionic surfactant is readily biodegradable and has good wetting along with relatively low foam properties.

Griton WN can be used as a low foam wetting agent in textile applications. In particular it find use in mercerising operations.

Griton WN is also used as a dispersing agent in paints and pigments, as a solvent emulsifier in degreasing formulations, as an emulsifier in herbicide preparations and as processing aid in mineral processing applications.
