Background

Griton DS80 is a phosphate ester manufactured using phosphorous pentoxide to give a product that contains both mono and di-esters The main advantage of a phosphate ester over a conventional anionic is it’s excellent stability in high concentration of acid, alkali and electrolyte. This product is supplied neutralised by the production of a triethanolamine salt.

Typical Application areas are:
Textiles, metalworking cutting fluids, leather, household, I+I, agrochemicals, emulsion polymerisation and pigment dispersion.

Storage

Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Griton DS80 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination.
