Background

Griton PA8 is a phosphate ester manufactured using phosphorous pentoxide to give a product that contains both mono and di-esters The main advantage of a phosphate ester over a conventional anionic is it’s excellent stability in high concentration of acid, alkali and electrolyte. This product is supplied in free acid form and can be neutralised with a number of bases to produce a variety of different products.

Typical Application areas are Textiles, metalworking cutting fluids, leather, household, I+I, agrochemicals, emulsion polymerisation and pigment dispersion.

Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Griton PA8 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination.
