Background

Griton PE310 is a phosphate ester manufactured using phosphorous pentoxide to give a product that contains both mono and di-esters The main advantage of a phosphate ester over a conventional anionic is it’s excellent stability in high concentration of acid, alkali and electrolyte.

Griton PE310 is supplied in free acid form but when neutralised the product can be used in areas such as:
Textiles as a lubrication aid and / or emulsifier
Metalworking cutting fluids—especially when neutralised with TEA
Leather, household, I+I, Agrochemicals add emulsion polymerisation

Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Griton PE310 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination.
