Polyethylene Glycols

 The P.E.G. series of low to medium molecular weight polyether diols having primary hydroxyl group at each end. All P.E.G. are completely soluble in water, very low in toxicity, quite blend, non-irritating and possess wide compatibility, good solvent action, good stability and good lubricity.

This usual combination of properties has enabled them to find a very wide range of commercial application in the field of Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Paper, Textiles, Rubber, Ceramics, Wood processing, Packaging and manufacturing of surfactant dispersant resin and plastics.

P.E.G. derivatives like mono and diesters of fatty acid are widely used as emulsifiers and lubricants.
