The commercially available crop protection products are in fact formulations based on an active ingredient. By means of adding solvents, emulsifiers, dispersants or wetting agents, a stable dilution in water is made possible for field application. This aqueous solution can then be readily applied using suitable spraying apparatus. Depending on the application profile of the specific active ingredient it must be decided whether a solid or liquid formulation is most suitable.
